DIY Message Under Your Shoe
DIY Message Under Your Shoe
Not everything DIY for your wedding has to be decor related—check out this adorable pair of high heels with "I Do" written in bedazzles on the bottom of the shoe.
With bedazzle rhinestones and studs from your local craft store (or Michaels.com sells them), write a little message! If you kneel during your ceremony, your guests will have a view of your sparkly "I Do" glued to the bottom of your heels. Or, this little touch is a surprise to show your husband-to-be, or just for a sweet Cinderella moment in a photograph.
Even if you wear them again, you'll always know those white heels were from your big day!

I love this idea! I like little personal touches like this. And it is quick and easy to replicate, even for those who are not so crafty.

I did this for my shoes with some silver glitter stickers from Micheal's - very easy, very quick.
You just have to think about how you want it to read. For me, there is a swing at the ceremony site I want to take pictures on, so I have it read "I do" when I kick upwards. For others, if the Catholic ceremony lets you and you are doing the kneeling, it makes more sense for it to read "I do" if you kick back.

It is a great idea to have some decoration under the shoes. I think it must be a memorable and enjoyable thing for you and must be a surprise for your husband-to-be.

Be careful with this is you're having a religious ceremony. We had a very Catholic full mass wedding and were strictly told by our priest if there was anything under my husband's shoes he'd stop the wedding. They take it seriously!
