DIY Wedding Welcome Signs
DIY Wedding Welcome Signs
Whether your wedding is in a backyard or down a long dirt road in the mountains, a sign is always a cute way to both welcome your guests to the ceremony or point them in the right direction when in doubt!
In the first one, head to a local photographer or search online for a vendor who can create a custom life-size stand up photograph of yourselves. Do a silly pose, pointing in a direction to help the guests on their way.
The second photograph is a wooden sign stuck into a large watering can flower pot with daisies. This, placed at the entry way of the reception, is a sweet touch and a great keepsake for after the reception. To create this one, take a piece of wood, about 4 inches thick and a yard long, and paint over it with white paint to create a background. (This couple painted circles creating a pattern on the wood.) Then, take a thick permanent marker in different colors (or a thin paintbrush and some water-resistant paint) and write your names on the sign.
These are simple but decorative DIY ways to show off a couples’ personality right as the guests arrive!
