We'll admit it, sometimes weddings get a bad rep for not exactly being "fashion forward." So this week's Link Love is all about changing that. These projects are just too cute, and would be perfect for you, your bridesmaids, or even as a cute addition to your favorite honeymoon outfit. Enjoy!


1. DIY Pleated Skirt. Direct from the UK, this skirt comes from DIY Couture, a boutique with a new twist: rather than buying the garment, you buy a simple pattern with easy-to-follow visual instructions. What a great concept! But today, you get this tutorial for free. Lucky you. (The Storque via DIY Couture).


2. Blue Flower Necklace. Bridesmaid gift? Or rehearsal dinner must? This fabric-rose necklace is so chic, you'll want to wear it everywhere. (Lollychops).


3. DIY Fenton Necklace. Jewelry designer Dana Lorenz created Fenton, a luxe line of bracelets and necklaces, and quickly made her way to fashion stardom (we mean collaborations with J. Crew and Opening Ceremony, plus a CFDA nomination). And since we're all about being budget savvy fashionistas, we just couldn't pass up this little project that looks so similar to some of her designs. (Refinery 29).


4. Ruffle Flower Headband. You could easily make this headband for your flower girl, or invite your bridesmaids over one afternoon and have them each make their own to wear on the wedding day. (Sew Sweet Stitches).


5. Bow Bracelets. Any color, any size you want, these bow bracelets make such a chic final touch for your bridesmaids' ensemble. Try them in a soft leather, or even silk for a more luxe look. (100 Layer Cake via Maikitten).
